191209 - Sorry, I overlooked the fact that you didn't have access to the structures problem set solutions - but now you do.

191207 - I have posted the revised version of the midterm exam solutions with corrections. Please download it again to get the revisions.

191203 - Although I am still grading the midterms (sorry!), I have posted the midterm solutions. I have also posted a final exam (with solutions) for a previous year so you can see what they look like. You can also download the solutions for the crew systems and power/propulsion/thermal problem sets now.

191027 - Solutions to problem 8 are also up now - sorry for the delay. I won't be posting solutions to #7 as you won't be able to do iterative design problems on the midterm anyway, and you did get those homeworks back already. (We gave full credit to any signficant attempt to do the problem - there are an infinite number of right answers in design!) (Of course, there are an even infiniter number of wrong answers...)

191023 - Solutions to problems 9 and 10 posted, the rest are coming soon! (may need to refresh pages to get them to show up)

191017 - The remainder of the problem sets will be grouped by specialty topics (i.e., Crew Systems, Power/Propulsion/Thermal, Loads/Structures/Mechanisms, and Avionics). There will be some tweaking of the schedule, so the remaining problem set due dates will be TBD for a few days. Also, here is a copy of last year's midterm exam (with solutions) so you can get an idea of what your exam might look like.

190930 - The links to lectures #09 and #10 are now working, so everything is accessible on this site. My web site is still doing mysterious things but we have reached a reasonable work-around. Sorry for the confusion.

190925 - My web site is still kicking my ass; Lecture #10 is in the Files section of ELMS until I get this fixed.

190924 - A couple of points: (a) When you submit the team progress report via mail, make sure the document has the team number and the names of all of the team members on it, please! (b) If you think you might be interested in the X-Hab project investigating cabin size requirements, we are having a kick-off telecon with NASA this Thursday afternoon at 2pm in the Control Room upstairs at the NBRF. There is no requirement to attend, but if you have the time and want to find out more about this project, you're welcome to show up and listen in.

190924 - My web site is fighting me tooth and nail, so please temporarily download today's lecture slides and homework under the "files" section of ELMS.

190916 - WIAA is holding an NX CAD tutorial at 5pm on October 8th in EGR0312 (Aerospace Design Lab). There are rumors of pizza...

190915 - A typo on page 35 of the Lecture #4 notes in the equation for v(theta) has also been corrected - kudos to Hannah Neuenhoff for catching it!

190906 – Typos in the Lecture #04 slides have been corrected (and are shown in blue text) – download the slide package again for the corrections.
