Following my meeting in Galveston, I had a couple of hours before I had to catch my plane back, and went by JSC to visit some friends. It turned out to be "Inspection '99", the annual (3-day!) JSC open house. I only went into Building 9, but I did get a very nice reception all around, including a personal demonstration of Robonaut. (All right, they never would have skipped lunch to fire it up for me, but I was with Dave Lavery, and they want him to give them money, so I lucked out, okay?) Anyhow, what follows are some random pictures of probable interest to various people in the lab, including the large (huge!) Space Station RMS simulator, a lot of shots of Robonaut in action, Shannon Lucid's Russian launch and entry suit, the David Clark D-1 experimental low-weight Mars suit (that's "Mars", not "MARS"), and other stuff.
